Incredible Mk3 Golf GTI in unbelievable condition. Only 4 owners from new, within the paperwork is an early V5 document from 2001 showing the first and second keepers to be related and living at the same address (possibly transferred following a bereavement), the car then remained with this family until 2020 when it was acquired by A1 Classic Car Restoration in Christchurch. This is a cherished example that could be used for shows or even used as a daily (we would rather not see this out on salty British roads personally!). The car was then purchased by the current keeper in November 2022 but due to a change in circumstances it ended up on our step and we jumped at the chance to take it in.

We have sold a few 'time warp' cars over the years and this is one of our favourites, the interior looks as though it may only be a year old and the engine and gearbox are superb. By no means is this little Golf a powerful car by todays GTI standards at 115bhp, it is a genuine joy to drive. Another surprise when we checked the car is that we cannot find any faults, the dashboard MFD all working correctly and electric sunroof & windows operating well, it is a testament to the build quality that VW was well known for by the time the MK3 was in production.

The most recent MOT in November passed at 53,014 with no advisories 2 days before it was handed over to its current registered owner and was serviced with a replacement cambelt at this time also. The car was barely used over the winter has now covered just shy of 53,500! Both original VW keys are present and the car would be supplied with a new 12 month MOT if required.
